These guidelines will help you as well as us to maintain structured and safe environment. Also ensure consistency in operations.

Privacy Policy

Shreya Bollywood Dance respects your privacy and pledges to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information. All personal information you share with us in maintained in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (2000). References to Shreya Bollywood Dance may include its affiliates, depending on the context.

For students enrolled in the Shreya Bollywood Dance classes, Shreya Bollywood Dance may request information from third parties including parents, guardians or whoever registers you in a program.

Shreya Bollywood Dance website used sophisticated security and safeguard measures to protect users' information.

Your personally identifiable information is kept secure.  Only authorized employees have access to this information. 

Shreya Bollywood Dance will never sell, trade, rent, exchange or otherwise share your personal information with any other person, company or organization.

Registration Policy 

Registration is on a first come first serve basis. 

Registration is confirmed** once Shreya Bollywood Dance has received the online completed registration form and full payment  of the class fees. Online forms will be open maximum  4 week prior to batch start date.

To register in Shreya Bollywood Dance, you must be 18 years of age or over. Students must ensure that the details provided on registration or at any time are correct and complete.  

​Payment Policy 

• Full payment must be made in order to complete registration and to secure a spot. Each month's payment is due by 3rd business day of month.

Payment must be sent via Cash or Money Transfer to contactus@shreyabollywooddance.ca

• Costume fees (rental or purchase)and recital event tickets for recital or performance will be applied closer to recital date.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Fees is nonrefundable.  If you wish to discontinue, we have 4 weeks/sessions cancellation policy. You must provide written notice. We will count out 4 weeks/sessions from your notice and the month that week/session falls into will be the last month of which fees will be collected. 

​Studio Etiquette

Welcome to your new dance home!  This is how we keep our dance home safe, clean and inviting for everyone:

• You are coming to class to learn. Even though dance is fun, it makes great performance by commitment and dedication, which need to come from students.

• Observing classes is limited to first 2 minutes. We want all dancers to feel comfortable while learning in our studios without any distracting, this includes Cell Phone too! Let's block out distractions which can be avoid while we are learning. However you are welcome to come and observe the studio 5 minutes prior to the class starting time.

• Use of phone or filming in studio is prohibited. However, we can film practice session with the consents from all the participants and a secure link will be provided.

• Food is not allowed to eat in the studio.

• Class schedule timings are followed strictly, so please make sure you drop and pick up kids on time. If we need more time to finish any particular choreography, Parents will be informed accordingly.

• Parents/guardians of student must be present to pick up at the end of class. Minor students will not leave premises without parent/guardian.

• Fees is payable even if you don't attend the session to keep spot reserved.

Late Policy

Did you know the first 10 min of a dance class is the most important time? It allows you to shift your focus from your hectic day and warm up your body and mind for an optimal learning experience. It will be difficult to cover up missed time. Your dance practice demands hustle, so hustle in on time! 

Class Structure/ Rules

• Each month we will learn new song except for recital prep month of term.

• We take 4 sessions per month. Extra week of month will be a holiday, if no any practice or choreography is required!!

• Come on time as we follow time schedule strictly, No student is allowed after 25 minutes of class start time.

• Wear comfortable cloths.

• Bring water bottle if you need.

• Tie hairs properly, it is very important. It will help you to focus on dance more!

• Raw edited song file used for dance/ performance will not be shared before recitals of year. Students can use audio of dance recordings to practice at home.

• No any make up class will be provided or fees adjustment will be made if you miss the class unless notified by Shreya Bollywood Dance.

• If you can not attend class, we will try to arrange online session if possible, Maximum 2 per year.

• On holiday declared by HDSB for inclement weather, online session will be conducted.

• Class will be reschedule in some unavoidable circumstances or festivals.

Recital Policy for All Batches

1. The date and venue for the recital will be finalized for all batches towards the end of the term and communicated accordingly.

2. Students enrolled in monthly batches will have the opportunity to present multiple performances during the recital, allowing for an extended showcase of their skills.

3. Certificates of participation will be awarded to all students performing in the recital on the day of the event.

4. Attendance during all sessions of the designated recital preparation month (Mostly Jan and June but can differ) is mandatory for students participating in the year end grand Summer Recital in June. These sessions are essential for thorough preparation and advanced learning, which are critical for a successful stage performance.

5. Costumes for the recital will be available for rental. The final selection of costumes will depend on availability and will be priced reasonably by the provider.

6. An additional rental fee will apply for the costumes, based on the provider's rates per performer. This fee will also include the performer’s ticket for the show, eliminating the need for separate ticket purchases. Audience tickets for friends and family will be available for purchase closer to the event.

Dance Performance Participation

To enroll in the dance performance, participants must have

• willingness to dance, dedication, and time punctuality from participants as well as from parents.

• The dance program consists of preset sessions with a maximum of 8 to 10 classes, each lasting 60-90 minutes, or as needed for the performance. 

• These sessions include choreographed dance training, practice, and one costumed rehearsal. 

• The cost of choreography will based on each performance requirement and costumes cost will be additional, either through renting or purchasing, depending on the requirements of the performance. 

Practice sessions will be scheduled either in person or online, based on the convenience of all participants, which will be decided during the first session.

Terms and Conditions

The student agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the studio and acknowledges that these rules and regulations may change from time to time. Furthermore, all students release Shreya Bollywood Dance, its owners, directors, managers and all employees of all liability regarding any injury to self or child and/or any loss or damage to personal property. Students participating in our adult classes must be a minimum of 18 years of age. 

We do make exceptions strictly for students 16 or 17 years of age with a written consent form from a parent or guardian. Shreya Bollywood Dance does not guarantee that you will fall head over heels in love with your dance class, even though we do our best to make you happy. Shreya Bollywood Dance will suggest other classes that fit your needs if you are not satisfied with the results.
